Tourist
Visa (Tourist visa may be issued on arrival for stay
up to 30 days) The Consulate of Turkey in New York issues visas only for residents of the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, Massachussetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont; Puerto Rico
Business
Visa (Business visa should be issued prior to arrival in Turkey) The Consulate of Turkey in New York issues visas only for residents of the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, Massachussetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont; Puerto Rico

your valid signed U.S. passport, must have at least six months
remaining validity

Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
- A business
letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your
company letterhead and addressed to:
Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, Visa Section, New York, N.Y
The letter should explain all of the following
- The
nature of business to be performed
- Company
name and address to be visited in Turkey
- Guarantee
financial responsibility for the applicant, including return
transportation to the USA.

Your application
will be hand carried to the Consulate General and is usually processed
in 4-5 business days. The visa is usually issued valid for one year for single or multiple entries for stay each visit of up to 90 days.

REGISTER YOUR TRIP:
The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:

Locating individuals in cases of family or personal emergencies,

Relaying important travel and safety information about the region,

Arranging evacuation transportation in cases of natural disaster or civil unrest,

Issuing replacement passports when originals are lost, and
-
A number of other administrative services relating to personal documentation.
Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
